The official trailer for 'Boy Erased', starring Nicole Kidman and Russell Crowe, is an emotional sneak peek into a young boy's conversion therapy and a family's battle with homophobia. With scenes filled with religious persecution, adolescent shaming, and familial strife, 'Boy Erased' is set up to be one of the most powerful films of the year. But can a mostly Australian and heterosexual cast convey the story of a staunchly religious American family?
The film's Twitter page released the clip, writing, "Watch Lucas Hedges, Nicole Kidman and @russellcrowe in the new trailer for #BoyErased. In theaters this November."
