Scrabble is a game of wits, luck, and strategy, but may have just gotten more interesting. For all of the families who keep a dictionary close to the board at all times, the news from Merriam-Webster's Official Scrabble Players Dictionary may make you toss your tiles. On Monday, September 24, 300 new entries were accepted as viable words, and many of them reflect modern language trends and international phrases.

So, which words are you most excited to spell out? Here is a breakdown of a few noteworthy additions and their tile counts:

Zomboid: 21 points
Yowza: 20 points
Emoji: 14 points
Facepalm: 17 points
Ok: 6 points
Twerk: 12 points
Ew: 5 points
Sriracha: 13 points
Bibimbap: 18 points
Arancini: 10 points
Beatdown: 14 points

“OK is something Scrabble players have been waiting for, for a long time,” Peter Sokolowski, editor at large at Merriam-Webster told the Associated Press about the popular new addition. “Basically two- and three-letter words are the lifeblood of the game.”
