Christina Aguilera has been a huge name in entertainment since the late 90s and has amassed millions of fans internationally. However, the pop stars following has recently become enraged over discriminatory pricing for her tour merchandising.
A recent photo from Aguilera's 'Liberation' concert shows that plus-size T-shirts were being marked up higher than smaller sizes. In big red lettering, a sign on her display reads, "Add $5 for all XXL and XXXL”

While Aguilera herself most likely does not have control over merchandising costs and individual prices, many online commentators are calling for her to make the concert experiences equal for people of all body types. Especially since she herself has been vocal about the challenges of fluctuating weight.
Up-charging for larger sized apparel is common among many retailers. While there is surely a slightly higher cost for more material used, many are quick to question if it is actually a full $5 difference.
