Normal people forget that they have a water bottle in their bag at the airport; famed rapper T-Pain forgot he had a loaded gun. Now, the 'Buy U A Drank' artist has explained how this mistake happened.
In an Instagram video, T-Pain said that his security guard picked up all of the guns and jewelry that were laying around his house and put them in a bag before he was set to leave on a trip. Instead of being locked away, that bag accidentally accompanied T-Pain and his staff to the airport.
In the video caption, T-Pain discussed how the media covered the incident, saying, “What they’re not talking about is how I didn’t leave my security stuck there with my gun when most artist would have ran off from fear of the press… it was an honest mistake,” he said. T-Pain went on to assure that there were “No charges. No arrest. All my guns are legal, registered to me under my license to carry and out of reach of my children because I’m not a du*bass. Atlanta PD unloaded the rounds and handed it right back to me, I sent it home and caught the next flight out.”
