Exploding cars - All cars in Hollywood movies seem to be extraordinarily sensitive. A normal car would take some time to explode; however, in an action movie, one bullet in the precise place is enough for an entire vehicle to detonate.

Open doors - Have you noticed that in many Hollywood series and movies, no one seems to lock the door? People simply enter each other's homes as if it were nothing.

Training sequence - The protagonist always faces a challenge that he cannot achieve. Next, a two-minute set-up shows a training sequence. Shortly thereafter, the hero is up to the challenge and better than ever!

Group walking - Whenever there is a group in a movie, they always move parallel to one another. There is never anyone behind or in front.

Breaking digital security - What happens when protagonists come upon a door protected by a digital security system? They shoot it and voilà! It opens.

Applause - One of the greatest clichés in films is that an applause does not erupt spontaneously but rather always begins with a slow clap. This is then followed by a crowd of people applauding thunderously.

Bins to save the day - Where does a character who spontaneously threw himself from a building end up? In a dumpster protected by several bags which serve as a cushion. Or they might also end up in a truck that happened to be passing by at the exact right moment. What are the odds...

Talking in the bathroom - How many times have you seen this scene? The protagonist is locked in one of the cubicles of the toilet and he overhears someone talking about them. And it usually isn't good.

Breakfast - It is very common in Hollywood movies that the whole family is gathered for breakfast. Something which in real life rarely happens because of people's different schedules.

In the shower - For convenience, it seems that all characters in any movie or series lose their hearing when they are in the shower. While we realize that it is normal to hear less, usually the deafness in movies is a little exaggerated.

The best friend - The life of the best friend or friends of the main character revolve completely around the protagonist. They seem to not have a life of their own or free will.

Monuments - Conveniently, whenever there is a scene with windows, the view is typically of some monument emblematic of a city. Even if they live in cheap apartments, protagonists always have the best views.

Yelling 'No!' - How many times have you seen a scene where someone yells a screeching 'no!' before a tragic accident?

Old names - Almost all villains have a tendency to deny their real names when confronted. "That person died," is usually the most common response.
