How to get rid of a hickey
Tips to deal with the embarrassing red spots
We’ve all been there. Your partner gets a little too excited during a makeout session and before you know it, there’s an obvious hickey on your neck. If you’re worried about coworkers or schoolmates noticing, you can try the following techniques to get rid of it.
Put a spoon in the freezer for ten minutes and then apply to to the hickey. The cooling effect will reduce your blood flow near the hickey, reducing the swelling. This is especially helpful if the hickey was created recently.
By using aloe vera, which has natural moisturizing capabilities, you can hasten the healing process of the hickey. Applying a cream containing aloe vera twice a day should do the trick.
Believe it or not, using the inside of a banana peel can cool your skin and reduce the intensity of the hickey. Apply the peel to your skin three times a day for ten to thirty minutes.
By using a soft toothbrush, you can massage the hickey to increase your blood flow and therefore reducing the amount of time the hickey remains visible.
